Hello!

My name's Barney, I'm the owner of Dark Peak Dog Walks, based in Glossop, Derbyshire. 

If you're unable to walk your dog or need help with small animal care, then I'm here to lend you a helping hand. I've been walking dogs for over 25 years from Teacup Pomeranians to English Mastiffs, and pretty much everyone in between.

In the past I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering at several UK animal rescues where I gained experience walking dogs, caring for cats (including trapping feral kitten colonies for neutering), and rescuing seagulls suffering from avian botulism: Despite my appearance it’s fair to say I’m a big softie when it comes to animals!

Years of experience has taught me that no two critters are the same - so I'll always be 100% flexible when caring for your animals. You can rest assured that I'll treat them with the same love, energy and patience as I would my own.
